SMS messaging & opt-in

LexoraOS sends transactional only text messages about a guest's valet, parking, or TaxiOS visit (ticket or session link, vehicle status, payment reminder, payment link, receipt). We do not send marketing or promotional SMS.

Production intake screens use the same unchecked SMS consent checkbox beside an optional phone field where SMS is offered (see paths below). Authorized Access plates and guest passes may enter without this phone flow; those vehicles are not opted in to LexoraOS visit SMS by the Access program alone.

Opt-in path 1 — Parking self-serve QR

  1. Guest scans a LexoraOS QR on a parking sign or lot material.
  2. QR opens the public lot page (/p/LOTCODE).
  3. Guest enters license plate. Mobile number is optional.
  4. If the guest wants texts, they enter a number and check a separate SMS consent checkbox (unchecked by default). Terms and Privacy links appear on the same screen.
  5. Guest can continue without SMS. With phone + consent checked, LexoraOS texts the session link for that visit.

Opt-in path 2 — LPR / parking-session claim

  1. An LPR camera creates a provisional parking session.
  2. Guest opens or scans the public claim link (/p/c/…).
  3. Mobile number and the separate SMS consent checkbox are optional (unchecked by default).
  4. Continuing with phone + consent checked texts the session link; without them, no SMS.

Opt-in path 3 — Valet guest self check-in QR

  1. Guest scans the QR at the valet stand.
  2. QR opens the public valet intake page (/vc/…).
  3. Guest may enter a mobile number; a separate SMS consent checkbox appears (unchecked by default).
  4. Continuing with a number and consent checked texts the ticket link.

Opt-in path 4 — Staff-assisted valet check-in

  1. Staff begin valet intake in LexoraOS.
  2. When a guest mobile number is entered, a separate SMS consent checkbox (unchecked by default) is shown next to the phone field — staff confirm the guest opted in at the curb.
  3. Creating the ticket with that number and the checkbox checked enables transactional SMS for that visit. Tickets can still be created without a phone (no SMS).

Opt-in path 5 — TaxiOS receipt (optional)

  1. Guest completes a TaxiOS trip (pay in Terminal or guest link).
  2. Guest may optionally request a receipt by SMS — mobile number + separate consent checkbox (unchecked by default).
  3. Skipping SMS still completes the trip; no text is sent.
